After law school, William served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Richard T. Bissen Jr. at the Second Circuit Court in Wailuku, gaining valuable experience in trial work and the Hawai’i judicial system. In 2016, he joined the Maui Public Defender’s Office, where he represented clients in thousands of cases and gained valuable trial experience . His years as a public defender shaped his belief that every person—regardless of background or circumstance—deserves a strong advocate willing to fight for their rights.
William Pannell
is the founder of Pannell Injury Law, LLLC, a Maui-based firm dedicated to representing injured workers and accident victims across Hawaiʻi. William graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s Shidler College of Business in 2008, earned his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law in 2015, and joined the Hawaiʻi Bar in 2015.
William has also shown long-standing dedication to the legal community, serving on the Maui County Bar Association for more than nine years, contributing to programs, continuing-education initiatives, and access-to-justice efforts for the county.
